A red van belonging to student Christopher Barajas,18, caught on fire at the Park and Recreations lot on L street today (Sept. 2).
Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters arrived and put out the fire.
Fire was confined to the engine compartment.
Firefighters put out the fire and disconnected the battery explained Fire Captain Steve Guttierez.

Washington rally draws quite a crowd On the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s historic speech, around 87,000 people attended the Restoring Honor Rally held on Aug. 28 in Washington, D.C. The driving forces behind the rally were the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and Glenn Beck.
